Local shop owners, students, and volunteers gather for community beautification efforts as they install decor on the main streets of Glenside, contributing to various Glenside projects that enhance public art.

The Arcadia apprentice program contributes to community beautification efforts by enhancing the underpass at Glenside Station, a key part of Glenside projects that promote public art.

The Easton Road Planter Project bring a ray of sunshine to the community. Each spring and fall, the Foundation beautifies the community with a seasonal planter box designed to add a burst of color to Easton Road.

Glenside Public Art Project is a collaboration between Glenside, SEPTA, Cheltenham, and Arcadia University. The program brings the students Apprenticeship and Entrepreneurship Program to create works of public art in the Glenside community each spring.

When walking the streets of Glenside this fall, you may feel like you’re in the Philadelphia Museum of Art. That’s because Glenside, in Cheltenham Township, has been chosen as one of four neighborhoods in and around the city to take part in Inside Out. The program brings high-quality replicas of Museum masterpieces to communities throughout the region.

May 2nd, 2019. Last Saturday’s Arts Fest contributed to community beautification in downtown Glenside by introducing new local color. For this, we have David Guinn to thank, as his efforts are a significant part of ongoing Glenside projects focused on enhancing our public art.
On Oct 11, 2017, esteemed Philadelphia muralist and adjunct professor David Guinn teamed up with students from Arcadia University to enhance community beautification in Glenside. Their collaboration was highlighted during the Downtown Glenside Food Truck Festival with the reveal of a striking LED mural, a standout among Glenside projects that celebrate public art.
September 27, 2017 Glenside was chosen for its great location and vibrant artistic community, making it an ideal setting for community beautification efforts. Throughout the town, ten public art pieces from Glenside projects will be displayed for three months, running from mid-September to early December.
